  • Massage contributes greatly to your body’s ability to function properly and maintain a higher quality of life. It’s a time to nurture and relax your body and mind. Most importantly, it helps relieve the common aches, pains, and stresses that are part of our daily life.

TYPES OF MASSAGE

  • Muscle Release Therapy: Treats chronic and acute soft tissue injuries, combining compression, extension, movement and breath to relieve pain. Scar tissue is broken up, the muscle is lengthened, and muscle memory is restored.

  • Somatic Massage: Works with movement to encourage the reorganization of awareness in the body, helps us function optimally.

  • Swedish Massage: Promotes general relaxation, relieves muscle tension, improves circulation, and rids the body of aches and pains with gentle pressure.

  • Thai Massage: Balances the body's energy, releases blockages, and allows the body to open and flow. It is performed on the floor, wearing loose and flexible clothing.

  • Acupressure: Balances the body's energy and lessens the risk for disease by treating acupressure points on the body with thumb or finger pressure.

  • Lymph Drainage Massage: Promotes healing of edema from surgery and soft tissue injury, while enhancing circulation, and immune function. Reduces cellulite and helps the body to detoxify itself.

  • Hot Rock Massage: Warm stones encourage the exchange of blood and lymph and provide soothing heat to relieve stiff or sore muscles.

  • Chi Nei Tsang: (Internal Organ Massage) Releases blockages in the abdomen with gentle strokes and sound vibrations. Energizes, strengthens, and detoxifies the body's internal system by clearing out toxins and negative emotions that cause organ dysfunction.

  • Qi (Chi) Gong: The art and science of using posture, exercise, breathing, and concentration to gather energy to heal the body and mind. It is the preventive and self-healing aspect of Chinese medicine.
